Today is “National Talk Like A Pirate Day”.

Yes, it’s a real thing.

A local company, Krispy Kreme, is making the most of it. If you walk into a KK and say “Arrgghh” or similar you get a free doughnut. For those of you that have never had a KK doughnut… imagine a lump of hot, sweet sugar that literally melts down your throat. Sounds gross- tastes GLORIOUS.

IF they are hot. Cold… it’s a doughnut.

On my afternoon walk I came across this pirate wench standing in my local park passing them out to the public.

Gotta love the big city.
